Pokémon was officially founded in 1995 by Satoshi Taijiri and is centered on fictional creatures called "Pokémon". In Pokémon, humans, known as Pokémon Trainers, catch and train Pokémon to battle other Pokémon for sport. Till 2021 we can count eight Pokémon-Generations, which consist of different Pokémons and of different types. For our visualization we used data from the generation one till six. Every generation differs from each other, that's why you can compare the generations with each other. In the comparison you can discover, which generation compared to another generation has more Pokémons of a certain type!
